Elisse liked a boy, a good looking guy. She fell for him at the first sight, a common phenomenon called first sight love. Apparently he is a chick magnet, so she decided to keep distance and did not approach him. "This is just a crush, doesn't matter", she thought.

Her friend told her that the boy played basketball every Tuesday and Thursday, and having training on Wednesdays. This was the motivation for her to join basketball chilling sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, although he did not turn up every week. She knew that there was a possibility to see him, therefore she went consistently. He was always her motivation for sports, in fact very often, she wasn't determine to continue, thinking of him surprisingly would motivate her to continue. At times, she had some opportunities to talk to the boy however she felt shy and resisted.

Because of him, Elisse started to be active, she took part in many events as volunteer. Just because he was active in outdoor activities and performances. Due to high exposure infront of him, he took the initiative to talk to her, which had surprised and cheered her up. She even got too hyper and stayed up till midnight. Something sweet about having a crush was that every little thing done by him was so exciting, including just sending a friend request to her in Facebook. Though it was said to be hilarious, after accepting his friend request, out of a sudden she felt the power and stayed up to study. She appreciated the power gained merely because of his existence.

There was once, she went clubbing despite of sprained ankle, reason being she did not see him that week. There was once, she extended her badminton session to 4 hours because he came after 2 hours she played (which was the time she supposed to stop) and ended up passed out on the bed later. There was once, she tried listening to his favourite acoustic music which she did not appreciate initially during exams period. To her, acoustic music was boring and she used to listen to pop song. After forcing herself to hardcore listening, she started to appreciate.

During exams period, she was stressed out of her studies, thinking chocolate could release endorphin. By chance, he might be struggling with his studies, she thought. With this simple intention to destress him from exams pressure, she decided to give him chocolate anonymously. Later, again she gave him some fruits with high Vitamin C because she knew he stayed up late and immune system might be worse than usual.

To her, he was so special. Because of him, she played sports consistently which never been like this before. Because of him, she met new people and discovered her outspoken characteristic. Because of him, she begun to be active in society events. Because of him, she tried to listen to slow music. Because of him, she strive to improve herself as a whole, especially in language. Slowly, the feeling of crush became very undefinable. No longer crush on him because of his good looking appearance, moreover she appreciated the values added on her and experience throughout the journey.

This all ended when he started a relationship.

Though she was quite upset for some time, she really did wish him all the best on this relationship, secretly and peacefully. She hoped that this relationship will go eternal, maintaining a relationship to marriage, to old and to death is heart-warming.

Nevertheless, he ended hiss relationship, enlighten her candle of hope again. After a small period of time, they happened to be in the same class. Wednesday was then the day she looked forward every week. Sense of happiness and joy started every Tuesday. Every Wednesday she went to class regardless of her heavy workload and health condition.

Elisse was told that the boy knew about her crush and his friends were teasing him all time. She understood this created an awkwardness between them thus she tried to pull back the feeling towards him and attempted to treat him as a friend. She also knew that the boy did not seem interested on her.

Putting quite a lot of efforts in gaining courage just to interact with him "normally", unfortunately found out her friend that knew her crush all time was close with him. It was a shocking and heart-breaking news. At the time that she found out the chemistry between them, she was shocked and disappointed. At that moment, she felt the dizziness and betrayals. This came with lots of disappointments, cryings, confusions and understanding.

Understanding, the world ain't fair, the world ain't controllable, the world ain't goes as you wished. Understanding, love is passion therefore no one that she could blame on. Understanding, she believed her friend did not betrayed her on purpose. Understanding, a straightforward guy that wants to express his feeling to that girl publicly, without really take consideration of her feeling. Understanding, the whole world knew Elisse like this boy and at the same time knew both of them felt each other.

Elisse understood everything and decided to let this go. Happiness is the core component of life. Anyhow she would thank this boy to be part of her journey of life. Friendship, is something she treasures all time, she is reluctant to let anything to destroy ties with her friend. Be open-minded, she advised everyone who is having a harsh time to work on this.

Forget about him and MOVE ON. Life is about family, self-achievement, friendship, network and happiness. Much more to pursue besides love.
