During Easter break of 2014, FAMily includes YenIn, VenSiew, Jess, Shaun, Joel and I, plus PinHern went to East Europe to explore Budapest, Vienna and Prague which are the capitals of Hungary, Austria and Czech Republic respectively.
But first, let me talk about my very first experience in missing the flight in London Stensterd Airport as well as overnight in the airport (London Luton Airport). Due to the road closure in M1, a terrible jam occurred on the other side as all vehicles switched to the same road to London. We estimated an hour jam to airport and ended up the jam lasted 2 hours thus we couldn't catch the flight on time. Reached the gate at 11.15am for 11.15am flight. Never ever tried to overnight in the airport, which we need to brush our teeth, to wash our face and to do our make up in the public toilet, besides sleeping on the cold hard benches. Some of us like Jess and Pin Hern didn't even sleep, I really don't know how they managed to. Me? Florance was definitely sleeping on the bench in cold, thanks for Shaun lending his jacket to me. I slept the most, according the FAMily, 3 hours. Shaun made me feel like he's my dad, so caring! He slept in just a tee-shirt. PinHern managed to hold his sleepiness and studied Management Accounting for his exams, salute! My brain would malfunction if I don't get at least 3 hours sleep.
Next morning, safe flight to Budapest. We made it to Budapest via Wizz Air. Worst flight experience ever, people were literally screaming when the flight landed on the ground. It was extremely unstable, reminded me about the scenes of flight almost crashed in Non-Stop and Triumph in the Sky II.
First stop: Fisherman's Bastion, Budapest.

YenIn's photobomber level 100/100! Jess joined her as well HAHA.
VenSiew strongly suggested Fisherman's Bastion because it looks like the background of Frozen (Disney movie). And, yes we were frozen there because we underestimated the temperature there and it was pretty windy there.
It was indeed a breathtaking place to do some photoshoots! Without a DSLR, we still managed to snap some nice pictures.

We went to the restaurant cafe there as it was really too cold:
7 frozen kids decided to screw next stop, Chain Bridge which connects Buda and Pest (therefore the name of the city is Budapest), and headed back to the our lovely apartment.
Rose Apartments Apartment @ Rosza 101
Frankly it was lovely from the inside and creepy from the outside. The whole apartment looks like it was haunted especially there is no maintenance for the bush yet the interior of the unit is clean and tidy. Pheww.. It was pretty near the city tho. Location is quite strategic, particularly yummy pastries are ready for us from 6am downstairs. The only thing is that you need to grab the key from somewhere else. Since the taxi fare wasn't expensive, it was still alright tho. Luckily we don't need to go to the reception when we leave. We just need to leave it in the mailbox.

Official second day in Budapest, 7 happy kids were so exciting for Szechenyi Thermal Bath! It is the largest and hottest thermal bath in Europe.
We have unlimited fruits supply yay!! Since everyone was exhausted because couldn't sleep well in the airport. We slept in the relaxing area in Szechenyi Thermal Bath.
